RFQ: Safety Program Support Services & Training

The Chester Metropolitan District (CMD) is seeking a qualified professional consulting firm to develop and update its safety programs and conduct safety training.

Scope of Services:  The selected firm will be required to develop and update the safety programs as needed, provide employee trainings, and any miscellaneous safety support services. The main categories of work will include Development of Written Safety Programs, Safety Program Review & Update, Training Presentations, Annual Facility Inspections, and On-Call Safety Consultations.

Qualifications will be received until 5:00 P.M EST, August 26, 2019, at the office of Susan H. Roddey, Chester Metropolitan District, 155 Wylie Street, P.O. Box 550, Chester, SC 29706.  

Each Responding Firm Must Submit one (1) original and four (4) signed copies of its qualifications package as outlined in Section 3.0 of the full RFQ document. Qualifications and supporting material should be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked with the words “Chester Metropolitan District Safety Program Support Services and Training RFQ” and the name of the responding firm.

RFP: Building & Property Security

Chester Metropolitan District (District) is soliciting proposals from potential bidders for a new security system including intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance. The District is currently in the process of renovating their existing administrative and maintenance facility and will have the system installed during construction.

The District seeks proposals, including but not limited to layout and equipment, that will enable the District to efficiently secure their premises at 155 Wylie Street. The building includes the following areas: lobby, tellers, offices, conference room, and warehouse. All areas will need to be access controlled except the lobby which is open to the public. The site consists of: automated vehicle gates, open storage areas, and
open sheds. The gates will require access control and the storage areas and sheds will require theft deterrence, which may include intrusion detection, video surveillance, or other means as determined by the Respondent. The building layout and existing site plan is included as part of this package. “Qualified” Contractors must possess a valid business license and have a minimum of three (3) years’
experience in the field of surveillance and access control.
