Canned for a Cause
We’re excited to announce the return of Canned for a Cause—our annual community food drive now entering its third year! This October, we’ll be collecting nonperishable items across Chester County to support our local food banks, which are facing increased demand due to recent budget and contract cuts.
We’re inviting local businesses like yours to be part of the movement in one of two ways:
Host an In-House Food Drive
Rally your team and customers by collecting canned goods right at your workplace. We’ll help promote your efforts and coordinate pickup if needed. It’s a simple way to make a big difference—and show your commitment to the community.
Join us at Local Events
We’ll be accepting donations at several community events throughout October:
- Oct 3–4: Hazelwood Farms Rodeo — donors get $2 off admission
- Oct 11: Fort Lawn Community Center Fall Festival
- Oct 25: Richburg Fall Festival
Nominate a "Wanted" Community Member
Add some fun to the cause by nominating someone to be “arrested” for charity! Their bail? Canned goods. We’ll host a special day where your business and your “criminal” can bring donations and help spread the word.
