Customer Service Representative
Hours of Work: M-F 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Hiring Salary: $12.34-$16.45 / hour
General Statement of Job Duties
Under occasional supervision, performs routine clerical and customer service work as required to help ensure effective and efficient office operations and the proper billing and collection of customer payments.
- Receives and responds to customer inquiries, concerns and complaints regarding services and billing.
- Receives, receipts and processes consumer payments, fees and deposits; totals daily receipts and balances cash drawer.
- Maintains customer drop box.
- Makes billing adjustments as needed.
- Assists with preparing delinquent account lists, printing delinquent notices, crediting accounts to bad debt file, collecting bad debts, etc.
- Prepares service cut-off and cut-on orders, and general work orders.
- Answers the telephone; provides accurate information to callers and/or forwards calls to appropriate personnel; greets and assists office visitors.
- Performs general clerical work as required, including but not limited to entering and retrieving computer data, typing correspondence and reports, copying and filing documents, preparing and processing daily mail, etc.
Minimum Training & Experience
Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by one year of cashiering and/or customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
