A 30-inch water main in Fort Lawn, South Carolina just east of US 21 has ruptured. Chester Metropolitan District is asking all residential, commercial, and industrial customers to conserve water while this water main is being repaired. We have all of our resources engaged to get this water main repaired as soon as possible. We do not anticipate an interruption in water service for water customers in Chester, Richburg, Great Falls, and customers west of US 21 in Fort Lawn.

Once water service to 30-inch is restored, customers may experience discolored water.
