UPDATE: Service has been restored. Thank you for your patience!

On Friday, June 11, 2021, a large water main on Mill Street in Chester was repaired. This process left residents on Mill Street, Hayes Street, and the adjacent portion of Center Street without water service for an extended period of time. Water service was restored and a Boil Water Advisory issued at 5:30 PM on June 11th.

On the morning of Saturday, June 12, 2021, a second large water main break was discovered in the same area. The broken main is smaller, but will affect the same customers on Mill Street, Hayes Street, and the adjacent portion of Center Street. Customers will experience a second extended interruption of service while repairs are being made.

We will continue to update the public via Facebook as repairs progress and are completed.
