At approximately 9:00 PM on the evening of May 6, 2023, CMD crews were called to the Industrial Park area of Old York Road in Chester to repair a major water main break. A large portion of the water main was damaged and crews continue to work to make repairs.

Customers on Old York Road, Armory Road, Featherstone Road, Rhinehart Road, Stanback Road, Darby Road, Gethsemane Road, and Industrial Park Drive continue to be without water and traffic control remains in the area.

Around 11:30 PM, crews were alerted to a major break on Parkway Drive in Chester which blew out a portion of the road. Parkway Drive is currently closed to through traffic.

Please be aware that both areas will be under a Boil Water Advisory once service is restored.
