The Chester Metropolitan District strives for financial transparency.  Our Fiscal Year runs July 1st to June 30th of each year. Our annual budgetary process begins approximately six (6) months prior to the start of the new Fiscal Year. Our Commissioners and Finance Staff work closely to prepare a fair and balanced budget.

CMD does not receive revenue from taxes. Our only source of income is through revenue collected for water service. All budgetary changes and rate increases are implemented with the utmost consideration. We do so to ensure the long-term sustainability of the District.
