Annual Fire Flow Testing
The Chester Metropolitan District will be conducting Fire Flow Testing beginning Tuesday, September 24, 2019. This procedure will last approximately 4-6 weeks.
During this testing period, crews will be opening and flowing fire hydrants across the County. Low pressure and short bouts of discolored water in the tested area are normal, and temporary. If you experience prolonged low flows or discoloration (for a period of more than one hour), please call the CMD Office at (803) 385-5123.
