Boil Water Advisory: Old York Road / Parkway Drive
The Chester Metropolitan District has issued a Boil Water Advisory for public water users in the
Chester, SC area; specifically, on the following streets:
Old York Road
Gethsemane Church Road
Featherstone Road
Stanback Drive
Rhinehart Road
Darby Road
Armory Road
York Road Industrial Park
Parkway Drive
Roundtree Circle
Gardendale Circle
Ball Park Drive
Fieldcrest Circle
Vance Drive
Sugarplum Road
Dallas Street
B&D Trailer Park
A Boil Water Advisory is optional for customers, but strongly advised. Under this advisory,
the Chester Metropolitan District urges residents boil water vigorously for one (1) minute
prior to use for cooking or drinking. CMD does not anticipate contamination in either part of the system.
Customers who experience discolored water should flush their faucets until the water runs clear.
Severely discolored water should be reported to the CMD office by calling (803) 385-5123.
