UPDATE #2: Service has been restored. Customers on Republic Street are under a BOIL WATER ADVISORY. This is an optional advisory. Customers are urged to boil water vigorously for one (1) minute prior to consuming or using for cooking. This advisory will be lifted once passing bacteriological results are returned.

UPDATE: The main break has been located. Customers on Republic Street in Great Falls will experience loss of service until repairs are complete.

Customers have reported low water pressure and loss of service in the downtown area of Great Falls, SC. CMD’s Distribution Crews are currently searching for the source of the pressure issue to make repairs and will begin work as soon as the problem is located.
We currently do not have an ETA on repairs or restoration of service.
