UPDATED Boil Water Advisory: Edwards Road Area, Fort Lawn

Following an 8″ Water Main Break, the Chester Metropolitan District has issued a Boil Water Advisory for public water users on the following streets in the Fort Lawn Area:
Edwards Road
Robinhood Road
Carabrook Road
Kennington Street
Cindy Lane
2623 – 2566 Catawba River Road
A Boil Water Advisory is optional for customers, but strongly advised. Under this advisory,
the Chester Metropolitan District urges residents boil water vigorously for one (1) minute
prior to use for cooking or drinking. CMD does not anticipate contamination.
Customers who experience discolored water should flush their faucets until the water runs clear.
Severely discolored water should be reported to the CMD office by calling (803) 385-5123.
